PRODUCT DESCRIPTION : It is the most widely available variety.50% of Iranian production is of the Fandoghi type. It has the lowest shape index among other cultivars with limited yield.it it is also a good source of protein with high copper content.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE:It can be stored in the refrigerator for 12 months or freezer for up to 2 years. Keep it in a cool, dry place

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS:

Flavor : nutty and subtle. Free from bitterness, musty and spicy taste

Aroma : very slight and pleasant odor

Texture : hard, nutritionally dense food

Appearance: round type with the lowest shape index

PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS :

Color: yellowish-white color exterior hard shell. The seed has mauve and light green skin and light green flesh.
